And hope the house is back far enough from the slope that any future erosion from the river doesn't end up sending it down.

With the plans for a 6s building on Pond Mills Road just to the west will this subdivision project kick off?

Alot of new houses going into subdivisions off Commissioners east of Highbury Ave now so the area is very active.

I was down Pond Mills sometime in the last couple weeks and noticed lots of land clearing going on basically opposite the intersection with Cleveland Ave.

They have definitely brought in the heavy equipment to clear the site and prep for servicing the new roadways.

I can't believe the constant stream of dump trucks going in and out of there. Its like they are trying to level the whole hillside or something.

Pretty normal when you are doing site prep given installation of storm and sanitary sewers, gas, power, cable utilities. Roadway grading and storm water grading.

Land all looks to be cleared and servicing has started for the extension of Deveron to Pond Mills.

Nice area and one I know absolutely nothing about.

Never really went east of Wellington because there were no malls, stores, or restaurants.

I am not a fan of the Pond Mills area. Quite sketchy.

The area this is an extension of is a nice area. The problem is that the Deveron extension will tie into Pond Mills at Cleveland Ave, and Cleveland Ave is the sketchy part.

Roadway curbs have now been poured. Wonder if they will put a base coat of asphalt down or leave it dirt during the home construction starts.

Base coat of asphalt has now been paved for the new roads in this development. Should see the first model homes by the spring.

Have another 5 homes with foundations poured along the south side. Have 5 homes now being framed at north end of site. Rather narrow designs with single car garages. Still have the east side roadway closed with concrete barriers forcing all construction traffic to enter from Pond Mills Rd.
