It's amazing how poorly that building is designed to handle significant patient traffic. It boggles my mind every time I have the misfortune of attending an appointment there. Luckily my kids have outgrown their pediatrician and my doctor moved out of there a couple of years ago...but every once in a while I'll have to take a family member to a specialist who hasn't bailed out of there yet and it just sucks.
It's a pain to get around by design (too few elevators and you can't take the stairs because there's 5 levels of empty parking before the first floor of medical offices)...and it's been half-empty since day 1. I can't imagine what it would be like if it were fully occupied.
If CancerCare takes up a few floors for outpatient services, they better add a 4th elevator and maybe move the lab up to the main floor from the basement to cut down on elevator use.
