The Amazing Brentwood - Current and future owners thread

I hope I'm doing this correctly...

Feel free to discuss any updates, issues news etc about your new TAB condo in this thread.

I'm in T2 on a lower floor and I face the plaza...hope it won't be too noisy

I’m in the middle. I think you’ll be ok with noise within the building, it’s cement. Noise from outside may be tricky. Especially in the summer when your balcony may be open

Hey guys!

I’m in the upper levels. (40th floor) I imagine it’ll be a while before they get to me for the walk through appointments?

Anyone get their appointments?

I'm on the lower floors of T1 and the construction noise means I can't sleep in past when the construction starts up, windows closed.

The soundproofing between units isn't as good as the last new-build I was in. Same floor isn't much unless it's the hallway, but the floor above can be annoying, it sounds like they construct furniture for a living with all the hammering and drill sounds.

Once T2 is completed, there will be a massive flood of units advertised for rent. Yikes!

This is not a promising review after waiting all this time
But I guess good to know beforehand

Have you scheduled your walk through? I haven’t gotten an email yet.

I was creeping on people’s Instagram and I asked this realtor who did a walk through on T2 with her client. They didn’t give her a move in time frame yet. But she said she thinks it’s spring 2020. That seems a bit early to me? (I would love that, just doesn’t sound realistic)

You're free to move in whenever, but Shape won't allow you to delay completion date (date when you need to pay the remaining balance and take possession)

Yea I'm hoping I'm able to push back my completion date because I believe that even by september they wont be through half of building's move ins but we shall see.

I think shape is, a bit green when it comes to this process.

I guess no one else here has heard anything about their walkthroughs being scheduled yet?

That's a hell of a long time away, but I guess not out of the realm of possibility. T1 had less than half the number of units that needed to be handed over to owners and that took 6+ months...

Would you kindly PM me when you get your walk thru notice? ... because I am higher than your level,so that I can have some rough idea.

@Meraki, are the elevators in T1 the type where one goes from 1-30 and another from 30-60? or do they all go from 1-60?

Those who has done walk thru, would you kindly post some pics of lobby?
Just curious what T2 lobby looks like compare to T1.
