I went to the Leila Ave location yesterday. They offer it there.

Mr.Sub was so much better than Subway. It was a dark day in Winnipeg when Subway opened in the early 90s. By the end of the decade, most Mr.Sub locations were closed.

"Taste of Ukraine" has opened in Polo Park mall and has expansion plans to KP & St. Vital as well. Interesting is that it's the owner of Famous Wok who put concept together and hiring Ukrainian immigrants. "Bento Sushi, Famous Bourbon Chicken and Cha House in CF Polo Park fall under Famous Wok Inc.’s umbrella"

Tomorrow is my birthday, so I went today to Joey's Seafood @ Kildonan Crossings to redeem my free Mariners Club birthday meal. I found out that in addition to some menu changes like discontinuing mashed potatoes and now charging extra for your coleslaw when you order your Fish & Chips; they only have 2 locations left in Winnipeg: the Reendeers (Kildonan Crossings) location and one on Portage @ Cavalier.

^ if i recall we first heard about that condo building 3'ish years ago, so no huge surprise here. there's TONS of empty restaurant spaces available.

Building / lot has a For Lease sign on it. former owner daughter has Dari Delight on St. Annes, almost exact same

Thanks Wags. Yes a lot of great spots and I did the drive to Dari over my time in Winnipeg. As a Norwood former resident this one is closest to the heart.

I noticed there's a Pizza Hut going in on Corydon where the Freshii was and Second Cup before that. Seems like a pretty small space for them. I wonder if it's some kind of new urban concept.

There's a few Pizza Hut in the city that have PU & Delivery only, no eat in. They are doing it across USA & Canada

Yeah the one at Portage and Cavalier moved from dine in to a smaller, pick-up/delivery only spot a few doors down in the strip mall where it's located.

I think all the Pizza Hut’s in Winnipeg are now take out & delivery only.
