I know this is a "skyscraper forum" so most here get excited about new shiny towers, but imo, the most exciting development occuring in Jacksonville is happening in a large urban and highly walkable neighborhood just north of downtown called Springfield. There are no tall towers rising, instead growth is in the form of 3 story infill projects, adaptive reuse of historic warehouses, victorian homes, apartments and the revitalization of a large scale urban park system connecting the district, with downtown to the South.
I can't keep up with Miami's but, I'll fill everyone in on Tampa's and Orlando's U/C list later on.
