Mobile

These were taken on my second trip ever to Mobile back in 92, the day after I was married.

1st National Bldg.

Regions Bank Bldg.

1st Baptist Church, where I was married

Beinville Sq.

I'll try to dig up some more, only if anyone is interested.

I don't remember what I was using. I know it isn't the clearest, brightest, or prettiest photography.

I thought I was bad missing my 18th wedding anniversary for a forum meet, but you did a downtown photo op the day after the honeymoon's first night? You, sir, are a real SSP/city geek. And I meant that in only the best possible way.

You will have to excuse my wifes arm, I rode shotgun so I could take the pics. The house was where her grandmother used to live, and the last shot is of the church again. The guy in the pic asked me for a smoke.

I have a few more somewhere, but I need to find them. I got a new scanner yesterday, and I've been having a little fun uploading old photos. I'm glad someone found them interesting, and she had as much fun as I did driving around taking photos. I told her when we first met that I was a skyscraper geek

^ Good idea to be honest right up front. My wife indulges me too. I guess she figures it's better than gambling away all the dough in Atlantic City.

Exactly Speaking of casinos, my wife and I were two of the 200 people in Detroit hired to petition to get the State to allow a state wide vote on casinos in Detroit. The people of Detroit voted yes on casinos, but the governor shot it down. I'm not a gambler myself, but Detroit needed the money, and the people spoke.
