Your cities' best "staycation"?

As much fun as the US economy is right now, a lot of Americans are choosing to vacation at or close to home this summer. If you were going to the create perfect vacation within your home city, what all would you see and do? Where are the best spots for sightseeing, outdoor activities, theater, etc.? Let's say that each vacation is over a 3-day timespan.

From the cities I've lived in:
San Antonio (hometown): I'd stay at the Grand Hyatt, lunch in Southtown, first friday, swimming in the san pedro springs

Omaha: Find a little B&B in Dundee, trip to the museums and riverside

Phoenix: Actually, n/m

SE Michigan: Stay at the Book-Cadillac, trip to the waterfront, daytrip to Windsor

Portland: Ace Hotel, of course!

Seattle: North tower of the Westin, EMP, Monorail, trip up to the Columbia Center

The choices are pretty daunting within just minutes from the urban cores of Salt Lake City, whether its just for a relaxing afternoon getaway or 3-day camping trip.

I'll go here(Silver Lake Flats) several times a week during Spring,Summer and Fall. It's only minutes from the house in the city, and great for dates and barbeques with friends. This type of setting is almost unlimited in this urban area.

There are a few around the area but if I'm looking at just Rock Island, it's probably the new Jumers Casino and Hotel on the outskirts of town (aren't they all?) The economy hasn't really seemed to affect them.....yet. Perhaps it's because they're so new(opened in December) I haven't been there so far, I'm not big on gambling or casinos or people who frequent these places. I might stop by to check out the restaurants, though. That's about it.

I'd also say that some may go to Destiny USA: https://www.destinyusa.com/

It has this hotel across the street: https://www.destinyusa.com/stay/

You are also down the street from this district that has been coming along for a while: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franklin_Square,_Syracuse

You can then go on to Downtown Syracuse: https://www.downtownsyracuse.com/

If they are in town, you can check out a AAA Baseball affiliate of the NY Mets here, near the shopping center: https://www.milb.com/syracuse/schedule/2023-04
https://onondagacountyparks.com/parks/nbt-bank-stadium/

or to this market near the stadium and shopping center: https://www.cnyregionalmarket.com/
