The artificial wide angle makes those buildings look more architecturally interesting than they are.

Happy to contribute!
I've been fortunate enough to now work in the area so I'll be here more often.
Please excuse the fisheye lens effect I use for some photos. They help with some vantage points in order to get more of the shot and are somewhat of a preference for me

By coincidence, I've been able to get a shot of the requested

ADELINE AND BLOCK 23 looking southeast from 1st St and Adams St

DERBY, THUNDERBIRD, AND LINK PHASE 2 looking northeast from 1st St and Adams St
(love how this view is filling up; not a perspective we see often)

I dont suspect Arizona's growth will slow down anytime soon, maybe sometime around 2050, I think the Phoenix metro will easily gain another 3 million people in that time.

I agree with this. Christown is generally a pretty good area. They just get people from rougher areas and that’s fine. Walmart in general are just not normally a wonderful place to shop, lol. Just the nature of the beast. Target gets a whole different clientele there. Who would of though Metro Center would have closed down before Christown even 10 years ago? I would of said no way. They actually have a decent amount of shops in there still, the basics like Foot Locker and Bath and Body Works. I think Metro and Christown will be redeveloped into urban centers. It’s happening all over with old malls. I’ve Google Earthed Toronto recently, it’s amazing how all their malls have new huge condo and apartment towers all around them. I also imagine Biltmore will build some apartments eventually where the parking lot is along Camelback. I hope they start to land some new stores too, I feel Biltmore is so important to Phoenix as basically it’s only mall now and need to differentiate itself from Scottsdale Fashion Square. They need a destination.

Four height evaluations submitted to FAA for the Moon Tower development. Looks like they may be going for 275'. Lot is zoned for 250', so it will be interesting to see if we get a 4th tower with a height increase approval. This could be the new norm.

It's the proposed student housing tower taking place of Meow Wolf.

Would be nice if someone in the know could tell us what this is, seems like a lot of people don't know - myself included.

This pops up every so often and shows up when you google it. Not at all a mystery--the freaking link tells you where it is. If you have questions, ask, don't complain.

You have a pretty snarky attitude.

Three people on this page have asked about it and that's your response? Nice communication skills.

I could have sworn I read somebody complaining about "pulling teeth" to get information. I would not have responded the way I did to the previous comments as they are now.

Moon Tower is a proposed residential student tower in the former Meow Wolf location at the empty lot at 811 N 3rd St. It was proposed at 255' on the PAPP. The project number is 20-2619.

Here's a link to my Google Drive for anyone that wants to read up on the docs (includes renderings): https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...Bn?usp=sharing

Edit: Went back and looked at the specs and it looks like it was proposed at 235'.
