Best drone video of your city

I've been lost for hours looking through Chicago drone videos...the 'dead of winter' ones really blow me away. So I started looking at some for my own city...I had little options but they were still cool. Anyways, lets post some of the cooler ones for everyone's town or city.

Here is Norfolk, Va(slim pickins for us smaller cities!):

What a beautiful little city Norfolk is! What are all the cranes in the distance at 2:11?

Here are a few of Winnipeg, Manitoba

Those Chicago ones are awesome.

It’s basically illegal to fly a drone in London these days, but here’s one from a few years ago by Jason Hawkes:

Otherwise - illegal to fly them over 400 feet altitude, within 50 feet of a building or “over crowded areas” (so anywhere in central London is out):

Thanks! Yeah I wish I could say those cranes are there for all the massive amounts of buildings going up but there are for the ship yard.

Canadian cities really punch above their weight...

I saw one of downtown Denver at night a couple years ago that I thought was pretty awesome, but now I can't seem to find it.

Anyway, I think this one might be the best one I've found so far:

Cool thread idea BTW.

Same here, dammit! They're too scared to have them fall down on their heads, when they break down.

Aaah, l'amour, l'amour...

Ha ha, some old sentimental song. I didn't even know that one.
They believe in romance over here, don't they?
Bah, they're not so wrong.

You can't beat this town. It's too pretty.
When I have a decent camera (sometime soon), I'll take you to their slightly more confidential areas...
All these areas shot here are super touristy.

The rich have to hide here. Lol.
Cause it's basically some sin to be wealthy.
Don't you know about that?
Yep, it is somehow.

I like this one because it makes downtown look enormous. However, it was taken a couple of years ago and doesn't show a lot of the newly-completed projects, or the projects underway downtown and nearby. For that, you need...

Video Link

In that video, the BB&T Building's conversion into the Arras Hotel and condos is well underway, the AC Hotel and Cambria Hotel are complete, the apartments on The Block are complete, the new tower at the hospital is under construction, the Foundry Hotel is under construction, the new DSS building and parking deck are visible, the addition to the art museum is under construction, and all the new apartments over by the stadium are visible.

Meanwhile, just for fun, here's drone flight over Chimney Rock State Park, about half an hour away from Asheville:

Without a doubt, it has to be this one. This was filmed last Summer so a few of the towers hadn't topped out yet.

That was cool but some of the comments? That's a skyline?

Yes it is.

Not to plug my own film haha BUT Starship Chicago DOES have some pretty kiler drone shots threaded throughout!

We wound up shooting about three hours of footage above the city so if anyone has any ideas what do with it I'm all ears!

I guess some people in Dallas just can't handle it. I've never understood city rivalries. If one Texas city is booming, then I'm happy for them and enjoy it. It takes nothing from mine and I don't disparage what they're getting to discount it to make mine look better by comparison.
