Looks like the developer of 6XGuadalupe has changed the residential component from apartments to condos - and is increasing the residential floor-to-ceiling height on those levels.

So, this tower, which is under construction, is going to be 66 stories and 883' tall.

Sweet!!!

Any news on the Austin statesman site? Feels like that should have started by now.

I definitely won't miss their old building. I was riding my bike on the sidewalk one night just sort of skimming along taking photos. There's a raised concrete portion of the walkway that I didn't see. It's like 4 inches, so I did feel it. I was ok and so was my bike, but I was sure somewhere there was an engineer who barely passed his classes.

The design is quite boring. But, at least that site will be more dense than it is today.

The FAA has approved the 1,034' height of the 98 Red River Tower. This would be the tallest building in Texas.

I would say pretty good. The same developers (Lincoln & Kairoi) are currently building our U/C next new tallest 6xG at 883'. This tower is being built on the site of the approved three tower Waller Park Place project. They are doing a revision of that site plan which should take less time than filing a new site plan. Lincoln also is developing the 710' Republic Tower.
