Italian Cypress take more water as well, they grow slower, and you will probably have to pay a bit more since they normally don't sell them in small sizes often.

Thanks so much Indy! Been a great help man. Read that Hopseed are kind of messy and don’t want that near our pool. Previous owner had Oleanders planted and we yanked those out quick not only because we have a dog, but also they were messy as hell too and would get all over the pool.
Sounds like Arborvitae is the winner here
