After about 10 months of shoring and excavation, the supertall is getting its crane. A UT forum member mentioned that SkyTower’s smaller podium/parking footprint and no parking ramps (completed in phase 1) should see it reach grade much quicker than phase 1.

Toronto is a very different place than it was 10 years ago in 2011 and is set to make an equally monumental shift over the next 10 years. The change may be more drastic as growth has accelerated.

The Portlands, Queens Quay East, Rail Deck Park (hopefully), pedestrianization of Yonge (and hopefully other streets), another 100,000+ living downtown, 200+ more high-rises, a new rail hub in East Bayfront, public realm upgrades, maybe even those retail laneways will be realized. It's amazing how much is happening and how quickly.
