By that I mean, the guards, taboo tomb stones or perhaps hidden monitor cams at government facilities that we don't know. I can tell you that perhaps the past tyrants ruling in Taiwan still somehow haunted me, whenever I see those guards, the only thought cross my mind would be to quickly walk-by.
There is no law that prevents you from taking the pictures at these places that I know of. Nonetheless, the seriousness surrounding atmosphere created in these sites normally would put a stop to people from wanting to take the "close-up" photos of the buildings. It's all in our minds I must admit. Nonetheless, you and your master photo skill had definitely prevailed and overcame the whatsoever obstacles may be. Props to u!~
