Im at 20 losses and 1 free coffee.

I just gave up an went to Aroma instead. This coffee should keep me awake to get $30 of writing work done before class starts.

I hope it's permanent, not just for Lent. I quit coffee several years ago, and couldn't be happier. My stomach loves me more, my sleep cycle is so much better (I've become a morning person!), breath and teeth are better, wallet is fatter...

It's a lot like quitting smoking in that you don't realize just how much of an impact it has until you do it. And it's exactly like quitting smoking after you've quit, and you watch other people rationalize why they continue to do it.

And yes, I'm like that guy from the Onion that goes around telling everyone he doesn't own a TV.

^quitting coffee and smoking simultaneously is...crazy shit. I gave up cigarettes almost 10 years ago. Coffee? Never!

That is pretty rough... hopefully your luck will turn for the better!

I think I'm at about 1:25 right now. Won a coffee with my first cup and nada since.

^ I won one on my second coffee, and only won a second one yesterday. round 2:20 right now, with a ~15 cup losing streak in the middle. Honestly, Mcdonalds has a better "deal". There, you get a free coffee every 6 coffees no matter what.

Is this where I can bitch about people in the drive-thru?

Went to get a coffee yesterday, was gonna go in but there was only one car in the drivethru so I decided that'll be faster..... 5 min later I finally got to the box to order. Then another 5 min before I got my coffee. Turns out the idiot in front of me got full breakfasts for his entire family. If you're gonna make a big order then place it inside you lazy donkey fucker!

0 for 30 this year between me an my wife.

My wife also played their rroll up the roulette bullshit online game and won nothing.

Last year they had commercials of winners during the contest, but I haven't seen any this year. Weird.

I cannot believe how cruddy this years RUTRTW has been. 2 chances to win on a cup and I'm 1 for 26.

Last year, I was 24 for 35 - I was winning like crazy (just coffees and donuts) but I had a pile on my desk at work. I was giving them away...it was insane! Guess I used up all my luck last year!

I don't drink Tim Horton's as a rule, but my father does. I popped round there this evening and he has a little bowl of winning lid scraps. He has 7 and he says that's from a little over two weeks worth of coffees (1 per day on weekdays, 2 per day on weekend days).

All of the winning rims were surreptitiously lifted by a cup factory employee and packed into the trunk of a car.. the desperate man selling off toyota corollas to the highest bidder to fulfill past gambling debts. He initially tried to pay it off with millions of donuts and coffee prizes, but they wanted more.

This is honestly the worst year I've had for Roll Up the Rim.

I heard a rumour today, I don't know if it's true, but supposedly in Kingston you cannot win any prize over $100 because the local franchise owner (which owns all but 2 locations in the city) is "not participating" in the bigger prize awards and is not getting any of those cups. It seems like a conspiracy theory but it wouldn't surprise me either.
