2021 is going to be the year for this tower, above ground begins and starts to take shape in earnest.
I imagine the tower goes up quick after the initial lobby construction, its rather narrow and I imagine they will have pre made forms to enable a quick form and pour schedule.
Cant wait to see this make its mark on the skyline.
Also cant wait to see those exterior glazing and wall assemblies going up. That's going to be neat to see.

Very much so, and beyond next summer. Given the impact that the Burrard Gateway Tower has had on the skyline from the kits Beach vantage view, I am really looking forward to seeing the impact this tower has!
Nice shots RDW989. Here is a few more (street level) of their pour tonight, this was at 7:30 PM so they were really squeezing in the last few cubic feet before the neighbors got annoyed. Having trouble with these pictures sizing as I took them with my phone instead of my camera, sorry about that lads.
Excellent viewing! "No apology for photo resolution" is a future posting in a 100 years from now by a skyscraper enthusiast viewing these on a ??K display.
Not sure how flickr works, but it lets you view the original. Imgur once you resize, the original is lost.
Since the beginning of this year, the 7-storey residential building with 61 social housing units, has reached ground level … and The Butterfly has moved higher as well.

Will be super exciting to see the "flute" entry way take shape. This will be a neat one to watch rise up.
I also wonder if it will go up quicker than most once past ground level. The floors are quite simple, and the exterior cladding panels are quite a neat assembly.
