Pic by me today -

Looks like the windows looking down into the lobby will be bands of glass and solid surface.

I think the solid surface is a green wall.

It’s a bit hard to get a decent photo, but the exposed undersides of the cubes are getting a mirrored, chrome-like finish. Looks great in person (my photos, today).

I'm still wondering if those white perforated panels will light up and plants will just hang from the slots.

I hope you're right about the panels lighting up. I always had it in my mind that plants would creep up from the slots.

I don't believe the Green Walls are wired internally maybe something added later or perhaps a spot light from the decks to up light. Kinda curious to see what those plants do!

I think the plants exit/receive water from the slots and use the holes in the panels to climb the wall. I don't see the point of lighting it if it's going to be covered (hopefully) with plants.

Is it me or are some of the panels misaligned? On the middle block (horizontally) on the far right side.

Yup, looks like a misaligned panel.

I just wonder what the hardware behind each perforated panel is for.
It looks to be about 10" deep.
I doubt that plants would be in soil behind the panel and grow out through the perforations (they'd get choked).
That's why I suggest they may be controlled LED lights.

On one of McMinsen's pics:

Seems like possibly ambient lighting passing through and I guess they need some kind of building envelope inside the perforated greenwall which would explain those boxes. I assume it's glass in those centre sections?

Ok for some clarity. That nice render showing the glass looking through to the plants is just a galvanized wall and will likely be drywalled. Same wall in some locations have vents that you can actually climb into the back of the green wall to service and pull weeds! The orange oval high lite is Green curtainwall wall back section and is about 24" from face of the exterior screen to the right side of the high lite. Its rather unusual for sure!

Good to hear that the greenwall is still planned.

Just noticed in those photos that the bottom edge of the greenwall has some of the panels on hinges that swing up.

I think the panels you mention as hinged are misaligned. Right above these panels is the slot the plants will come out of and directly behind is a aluminum planter with galvanized rubber to carry the dirt and irrigation. Hope this helps!
