It's definitely an interesting design. You don't see a "reverse shingle" effect too often. I imagine the building and its ledges will look pretty awesome after the next big snowfall.
Wow, the cladding looks sooooooooooooooo gooooood. That small piece on the trailer looks so meaty. This building is gonna be a badass behemoth. Can't wait to see the cladding climb up!
That is an incredibly low-riding trailer - what happens when it meets a speed bump or pot hole?
Yeah that's kind of shocking. I don't think I've ever seen a clearance like that to pavement. You'd think it would be incredibly easy to scrape. It looks like it's maybe 6 inches though the driver probably tells women it's 8.
I like that it's different. I'd like it more if the arches were actually structural, but we can't have everything.
It's New York's version of the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana!

Seeing that last picture, and sorry if this is OT but just wanna share the thought, the WTC as a whole gives me a very united vibe. They look like what the dreamt up drawn out skyline every fanatic would draw. Not trying to use 'basic,' but the designs are simple but graceful. Especially accentuated by their enormous size. I love them.
Besides the thought, 130Will is a much needed accent to the skyline. It is dark, and sizeable enough to make its presence known in the skyline. This is NYC to me.
