My fictional desert town

After many years I'm back with a new sketchup project!
My fictional town in southern Arizona is to be a setting in my book and expanded fictional universe.

There is a full sized Spanish cathedral with a giant gold cross.

A massive Spanish fortress.

And my masterpiece a native American pueblo larger then any real life ones.

It is inspired by Taos pueblo, only at least twice the size.

It is five floors tall and is sort of shaped like a ziggurat.

I've developed a liking of adobe buildings.

Parts of my pueblo would be nearly a thousand years old.

With edges enabled you can see the structure better. does anyone know how to get rid of those odd white lines that appear when edges are off?

The Spanish buildings and the native buildings together.

The natives mostly use ladders to get to higher floors, but there are a few stairs.

The central building is the biggest and oldest.

Thats all for now. I haven't posted here in so long...

Awesome! My project is also something I dream of turning into the setting for a fictional book... so definitely respect this. It's incredibly helpful when writing to be able to visualize fictional places in a way that makes them feel real, and Sketchup is a great tool for that.

Good luck on your writing adventure! I remember posting frequently here more than a decade ago. It is incredible how fast the years go by, alooking back with nostalgia on some of this stuff... :-)

Thanks for your comment.
Yeah, I remember posting in here years ago and seeing all the cool stuff people would make with sketchup.
I hope your project goes well and maybe you can share it here too?
