THIS is why we live in Arizona

Not skyscraper or even development related but we had a fun day in Sedona, until we tried going up Oak Creek Canyon, and there was a huge rock slide that forced us to continue up to Flagstaff... BAD BAD BAD storm saw sooo many wrecks even a rollover. After the snow was gone at about 5000 feet, it didn't get much better. Pouring rain and 30 mph winds on I-17 in the dark is brutal. They say its Flagstaff's first blizzard in almost a decade.

Proof that not all of Arizona is a blazing hot desert. Great pics John. How about that storm that passed through Monday/Tuesday. There is snow on the mountains here in Tucson.

Absolutely beautiful. Arizona has to be one of my most favorite places on this planet. I plan on moving down there in a few years, and will be visiting in February. Hopefully the weather will be nice and warm so I can enjoy my time away from the snow and cold!

/\ Hope so... although the national weather service is forecasting a wetter than normal February (due mostly to El Nino). Hope you have a good trip though!
