Hong Kong - Cold gets humid - Days 1-8

Recently returned from quite an interesting trip full of exploration, new friends and sadness. The first part of the trip was HK where we stayed in Kowloon (Thanks Pat). A day trip to Shenzhen, followed by a few more days in HK and then on to Tokyo, Nagoya and Suzuka (threads to follow).

Enjoy

Nice pictures of this amazing city! Plan to visit soon!
Was your trip affected in a negative way by the Occupy Central movement or can you get through safely to see attractions as a tourist?

It disrupted the MTR and some places were closed, but generally speaking it was insignificant.

Late to the party on this one... just wanted to compliment you on the great photos, and for taking advantage of that seat sale... it bottomed out at $450 from YWG but alas, no more vacation days for moi

You've given me a lot to look forward to as I plan my better-late-than-never trip to HK for next year, though

Love the tour. Nothing like arriving in a bustling, giant Asian city after being up for several days connecting multiple flights.
