^ Haha, oops, sorry for the typo. I'm glad you like it though.

Okay, I got Tanster's and Patrick's, and I'll go get Flyersfan's on the warehouse. Now I have to go download SketchUp 6 so I can open these.

I hate SketchUp 6!!! The lag is unbearable!!!

It took me an hour to render this, so I hope you guys enjoy it. Sorry I couldn't get any more pics, but I think I would have thrown my computer out the window had I waited any longer.

Also, Mocholate, 2 of your buildings didn't work. (Rawson Hotel and Moch2). They were both completely out of proportion, and when I tried to scale them, the textures got completely thrown off, and when I adjusted the textures, they started acting weirdly. I am clueless as to how to fix them.

Mmmk, here we go!

OMG! Fox that is so cool! Now I see the porportions of our towers, hmm, I really thought One Pacific Plaza was much larger, looked so sexily big in Palm Dunes.

I love how you put me and Peter's Art Deco Towers together, who's the tallest right now in Compalation City? And who made that Gold Dommed Art Deco Tower?, never seen it before.

I know, Sketchup 6 is SUPER SLOW, It has new features, but ugh. For example, I got a new Graphics Card today, really expensive, and Sketchup had the SAME exact slow preformance. I was friggin stunned.

And please more views!!

Oh and Fox, how do you get your images so CLEAR? Do you just export them out of Sketchup, add a sky, and thats it? Because, I've never seen my Lloyd Tower so sharp before.

That gold topped tower is Tanster's. The Lloyd tower is tallest to roof, but my still-unnamed tower is obviously the tallest with spire.

Yeah, I keep buying more memory, but it doesn't help at all. At least SketchUp 5 runs decently fast, much better than 6.

I'll try.

I export the images at huge sizes, like 3000 x 2000, so it comes out really clearly. Then I just shrink them when I put them on imageshack, and they keep the quality.

it is so awesome!

it's really nice to see everyone's buildings together.

i wish it didn't take so long to render fox, because i sure would love to see more views. an isometric view looking down would be nice because it would show every building. if rendering is too long, maybe no render but Ctrl+PrtScr image capture from SketchUp and paste in Photoshop would simply be worth it just to see the city it even if it's not as good as a render.

Good call. I'll keep that in mind if the lag is ridiculous.

foxmtbr, is okay if we send you larger detailed buildings....as in ones that are like 25 Mb? Since you are using 3ds, you should be able to xref it in and have no lag whatsoever...
