I always point it out to my kids as the "new Comcast". My 5 years old seems to think that both Comcast buildings primary function is to house the lobby video screen. I explained that the new one won't have a screen like the old one . I think that's correct?

I haven't seen any indication that there will be that or any sort of public attraction in the office lobby.

We'll just install a rope and shimmy down instead.

I don't think Xfinity is a name that will be around long enough to name a tower after it. I think Xfinity is more like a model number like the Xbox One. In a couple of years they'll come out with a new Comcastic name like Ultraverse!!!!

If they can rename the "Sears Tower" as "Willis Tower," they can rebrand this new kid on the block until the cows come home. "Comcastic Tower" sounds versatile enough to stick around for a bit.

The public area above the hotel will have a big screen like the one at Xfinity Live. In fact that area's going to be just like another Xfinity Live just 900ft+ in the air.

I prefer calling this "Two Comcast Center," and renaming the current Comcast Tower as "One Comcast Center." Similar to One and Two Liberty Place, One and Two Commerce Square, One and Two Centre Square, One, Two and Three Logan Square, One, Two and Three World Trade Center, etc. Therefore, the inevitable third tower would be called "Three Comcast Center."

It'll only be called "Two Comcast Center" for the first 12 months. Then it'll go back to CITC with a two year contract. You can always call and threat to switch to Bell Atlantic and see what kind of name that will get you. Probably just a comped night at the hotel.
