Nice picture.

J22 is good filler, Hendrix stands out in the eastern skyline. Our Parents Home is hidden. The Pearl looks like the Empire State Building, and construction cranes bring great news for 2016.

I love how much colour we have added to the skyline in recent years.

So much, and with Scotia tower reskin and Stantec both having lights, love it. Hope the trend keeps going.

Then we can change the city's slogan to the CITY OF LIGHTS!

Commerce Place needs to light up their crown again. It looked sharp when lit up.

I hadn't even noticed that it was no longer lit up. Too expensive, maybe, though perhaps with LED tech it could be reconsidered.

Incredible. I wish I could have experienced Edmonton at that time.

^^Bloody fantastic find.

Re: Commerce place lighting.

Got in touch with my pal who's one of the senior property managers.

She says...Very costly actually, but we are investigating it, have been for years, maybe this year's the year? But it is definitely my goals is to get that damn thing lit.

She also says...Unfortunately LED is not a fraction of the cost when it comes to these types of applications. As well if we're going to go this route it will be with programmable lighting so we can change the color.

She said...When I issue the final purchase order I will give you the inside scoop how's that?

Perfect

I have a book published in 1914. I will be scanning more images but want to find the exact locations and get new images.
