I agree but at the same time I'll take what we can get. Hopefully, this inspires some similar builds around the city.

Strange to see the angled concrete columns. I feel like using steel frame construction for those top floors would have made sense.

We were sitting in the canyon eating fries on Saturday and commented that from that angle the building doesn't look out of place at all. We are looking forward to seeing it finished.

I still feel really bad for the homeowners on Garrison, specifically this guy. His garage is up by the road and the house is hidden far back on his property and now towered over by the building.

What a difference already between this and the two neighbouring 'Ottawchitecture' buildings.

It's so strange to see the neighbourhood from above. It really drives the point home how suburban the neighbourhood is with all the detached houses. I'd love to see what other neighbourhoods look like from above (even without looking at construction projects).

I'm curious to see the final product with the roof and windows in.

It's an odd angle. If I had shot it looking down the opposite axis it would fit right in with the Richmond/Wellington strip, but yes the building looks out of place from a perpendicular viewpoint.

The lack of charcoal brick warms my heart. I can't wait to see what the roof features look like.

Are you coming to the meet Rocketphish?

No, I'm still playing it ultra-safe with the Covid protocols and staying away from all eating and drinking establishments. Maybe next time!

It's really coming into its child-killing perpetual shadow wind-tunnel machine as the local CA warned!

I thought I had a good photo, but don't, but from the Hull side, there are some good views of this and other new builds looming up over the trees.

I only realized now that there is no glass installed. That means we are waiting on some super duper baller bronze tinted glass right?

That means we will have rounded bronze tinted glass on the turret right?? right?

The lintels are actually round as opposed to 8-bit minecraft like everywhere else.
