-YEG not showing up now through January
-YUL now still only 3x daily through January and November is 'up to 3x'
-YQB not showing up now through January
-YWG not showing up now through January
-YYZ now showing only 'up to 5 flights per day' through January
-YVR down to 4x weekly in November from daily - showing daily in December down from a planned 2x
-FLL not showing up now through January
-MCO not showing up now through January
-DCA not showing up now through January
-CUN not showing up now through January

Even YYC only has 3x weekly transborder loaded for December...and that's with the rapid testing pilot project at YYC. So this means no transborder happening anytime soon at YOW - February 2021 at the earliest. Even Sunwing pulled their weekly MIA flight recently too.

Speaking of Sunwing, they still have the following international sun routes for sale out of YOW with the day of week ops, start date, flt # & YOW departure time:
-CCC, 2, 09FEB21 WG608 1700
-SNU, 25, 09FEB21 WG312 1620 (2) & 0600 (5)
-HOG, 2, 09FEB21 WG636 0600
-VRA, 3467, 06FEB21 WG630 0600 (3) & 1725 (6), WG266 0600 (4) & WG324 1720 (7)
-POP, 2, 09FEB21 WG416 0600
-PUJ, 367, 06FEB21 WG424 0800 (3), WG448 0600 (6) & WG108 0600 (7)
-MBJ, 17, 14FEB21 WG740 0800 (1) & WG768 0600 (7)
-CUN, 156, 12FEB21 WG579 0945 (1) & 1600 (5) & WG553 1630 (6)
-SJD, 1, 11FEB21 WG573 0800
-MZT, 2, 16FEB21 WG131 0855
-PVR, 5, 05FEB21 WG531 1100

That adds up to 20 weekly departures. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of this actually operate. Notice how there are 5 departures on Tuesdays and only 3 on Saturdays. I'm guessing that if loads are 40% on those Tuesday flights, they'll consolidate pairs of destinations into a triangle flight.

Lastly for WS, here's what they have:
-YYC: 5-6x weekly in November, daily in December
-YYZ: 3x daily
-YWG: 6x weekly as of 06DEC21 - was not expecting to see that.
Thanks for doing the research and posting this.

I also noticed the YYC departure is now at 8:00 - which I always thought was a more popular time versus the afternoon departure. I am happy we are still linked to all 4 of ACs hubs.

I also cannot find that YWG route on the WS website. Perhaps you actually meant 06DEC21. Perhaps if AC was thinking about it... there is some demand... but WS don't have the right plane for YOW-YWG in this current climate. Probably perfect for a Jazz CRJ-900 or a Sky E75.

This is what I am seeing for WS at YOW for December:

YYC:
3x weekly December 5 – 13
4x weekly December 14 – 20
5x weekly December 21 – 27
6x weekly December 28 – January 4

YYZ:
3x daily

YYC is currently 6x weekly until Dec 4

It says 06DEC20 here: https://www.westjet.com/en-ca/book-t...-flights/index

Probably a missed update on WS' part. They even show YOW-MBJ and YOW-CUN both starting 2x weekly on 05DEC20 and YOW-RSW 2x weekly and YOW-MCO 3x weekly. None of this will be happening of course.

Definitely the more accurate info.

Friday's departure count: 12

Saturday's departure count: 13

Who would have ever thought there'd be more departures on a Saturday than on a Friday.

Not surprisingly TS have pulled YOW entirely for winter 2020-21.

They still have YQB listed though...loyalty to chez nous I suppose.

Tuesday's departure count: 8 including a mere 1 WS departure. I know about a week ago there was a day with 9. Without going back several pages, 8 it the lowest since probably May.

Not really that surprising to be honest. TS has always been a Quebec based airline and I think in every past winter YQB had more TS flights than YOW.

We are a fairly conservative bunch here in YOW - I can't see a lot of demand for YOW based fliers wanting to head south especially with a 14 day quarantine upon arrival back home. I think a lot of people are afraid of Florida too. Perhaps some flights to Cuba or Dominican Republic would do ok from YOW.

Yeah I agree we are and it’s being reflected in our COVID numbers. It’s no surprise. We’re the most educated city in Canada and I think that reflects on most people here don’t seem to want to take unnecessary risks. It’s reflected in how little pandemic air service YOW has compared to other major cities. It’s reflected in the fact Sunwing pulled everything out of YOW from November to early February and in how they structured their YOW flight schedule this year where it’s clear they’ve built in the flexibility to easily combine destinations into triangle flights.

Thanks for the heads-up... I don't know if I'll make it for the arrival but I could for the departure an hour later. If they're using 25 for landing I'll do my best to make the arrival.

I imagine that if some of the smaller arlines that have been announced to come in to YOW cut a chunk of their domestic service, that could be the writing on the wall for Porter..
