The hell are you talking about?

Fougere interferes in city administration. Undermines decisions. Works to get people fired. Lies about policy. It's not my fault you can't read.

You still haven't given any actual examples based on any facts. But please, carry on.

Who has he worked to get fired?

What specific decisions has he undermined and how?

What policies has he lied about?

If these serious accusations are true, I'd like to know about them before I vote on Monday.

Good to know.

Flegel is all about a downtown arena which makes me think his might be Semple money.

Mayoral Race

I got a flyer in the mail for the Jerry Flegel race and it has a picture of his proposed ball park on the vacant warehouse lands. It looks like an awful plan with basically a huge parking lot taking up 50% of the available space and then a ball park and a few other things. This alone is enough to make me not vote for him.

Here's the plan from his facebook page. Talk about a waste of prime space close to downtown.

It's not my job to give you detailed information. I'm not going to throw people under the bus and publicly share HR information.

You want a reason to vote for Fougere, so go ahead.

She has stated she's ok with specific park development.

Also, Semple has pretty much given up on the park plan.

You could build this south of the Costco and utilize the east part of the Costco parking lot that rarely gets used.

I would be so pissed with all the parking alone. So stupid.

If that's the case, you probably shouldn't be sharing that information in vague generalities either?

With all the misinformation online lately (in all sorts of political arenas), it's not unreasonable to expect that people would want details to back up claims made against various candidates.

I'm not going to be voting for Fougere, but you have to be able to tell that your statements could be seen as problematic in the current social media/political environment.

And Flegel's proposal is absolutely vomit-worthy.

Go talk to basically anyone who's worked at the city in the last 8 years. It'll take you about 5 minutes to hear the stories.

Hell, watch him in any council meeting and it's already disqualifying without the internal city workings.

Just curious, are YOU Jerry Flegel?

Fougere was willing to “hear-out” Patrick Moore and his anti-science and anti-climate speech before Covid saved us from that. He’s clearly an idiot.

I've heard that the old Costco has finally been purchased for redevelopment, probably as a car dealership(s).

Two years ago Auto Gallery supposedly had bought it.

Haha! I doubt they would survive judging by the way some Reginans drive!

Too bad the huge white arrow in the render was pointing at first base. It should have been pointing to Jerry standing out in the left field!!

That's a might big parcel for Just Auto Gallery. They must be planning more than just putting their dealership there.

I would imagine the Staples store would get torn down if some sort of redevelopment takes place on the parking lot. The new store in Aurora should probably be open in the Spring/Summer.
