Wow! That is an awesome video! I had to watch it twice!

I still can't believe our skyline hasn't changed much in a long time other than PAW. How does Bellevue have more skyline altering activities than we do? That makes no sense to me. If anything their skyline might even be more dramatic than ours. THEY HAVE TONS OF ACTIVITIES GOING ON..

Once again great video!

I could watch that over & over. It's so interesting to get a feel for how the streets I walk so often were like 100+ years ago. And I agree, innovativethinking, wish there were some more dramatic skyline changes. Probably has something to do with a relative lack of corporate / Fortune 500 hq presence compared to Puget Sound region (Microsoft, Amazon. ...) But I'll take Portland's urbanity over Bellevue's shiny towers.

For a city of our population I think our skyline is more spread out and therefore not as dramatic. The Pearl is pretty much a new downtown and wasnt really there 15 years ago, same could be said for Sowa.LLoyd district is going to change soon as well. But... I think we need some building or buildings near to the US Bank tower to even things out a bit

If I could snap my finger for a new Portland tallest, i would place it on the vacant lot between the Pittock Building and Target. It would fill in the skyline from all four perspectives. If that block ever gets built and they settle for a mid-rise, it will be a crying shame...

I call for an all residential high rise that's no shorter than 50 stories. Aside from the obvious visual impact it would have, imagine the impact it could have on the housing strain with such an impulse in units.

This video is very, very cool imagery wise, but it should be about three minutes shorter and lose the rambling narrative.

I kind of expected the old lady to throw a blue diamond in the ocean at the end.

Whenever I get a good view of the Portland skyline where I can see Lloyd, Pearl, downtown, and SoWa, we have pretty big skyline. It always amazes me how much the Pearl skyline has grown in such a short time.

Or the top deck of the Steel Bridge. With all the new buildings going up there, I suggest everyone to take that walk across the top deck now and then again in a few years to see how much the skyline has grown. I still remember when the Pearl was basically nothing north of Glisan.
