River Cats Win Second Triple-A Championship

The Sacramento River Cats won the Triple-A Championship in Oklahoma City on Tuesday, giving the team back-to-back minor league titles.
The team clinched its fourth Pacific Coast League title in the past six years earlier this week.
On Tuesday, the team defeated the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees 4-1.
The Sacramento team, an affiliate of the Oakland A’s, has lead minor league baseball in attendance for each of its nine seasons. Forbes magazine in August named the team the most valuable in minor league baseball, worth $29.8 million.
In 2006 the team’s general manager, Alan Ledford, was named minor league executive of the year.
