As per ACRIS, it’s still owned by the same entity which has held title since 2015.
Hopefully, this piece of junk will be demolished. It’s the only eyesore on this gorgeous stretch of Fifth.
The delay might relate to greedy rent-controlled tenants who are holding out for extortionate sums to leave.

Getting approval from the LPC might be another cause for the delay:
“Madison Realty Capital is reportedly contemplating the 27-story project, which is designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects. However, no permits or applications for the new building have been filed. Any project there would need approval by the city’s Landmarks Preservation Commission.”
