Almost there. This has been a long time in the making, a very long time!

Really shines during dusk, as the sun sets. Quintessential modern day Gotham.

It sure would seem that way. Also remember that for most of that 'conjoined' area, there's actually a pretty big vertical shaft between the 2 buildings. (Biggest open shaft in NYC?) I've wondered in the past the justification for it being there.

I'm not even sure of that, but it could be. Lot of close ones in the city.

Well, yes, there is no actual connection and there is a gap but it functions as a zero lot line. I guess that's what I meant.

No I get that, I'm just using that as a springboard to entertain my curiosity about the approx 15' x 60' well between the 2 buildings.
For a site so seemingly constrained it just seems fascinating that they'd not maximize the size of the floors there- but the armchair analyst in me has a few different guesses as to why.

Yeah, it is flipped. I mentioned that earlier, but the building is beautiful either way!

Yep, beautiful for sure, top-5 in the City, can't wait to see in person. Just not sure how I'll feel about the bronze/gold color effect near the top of the west-facing side!

I think the color adds and doesn't take away from the beautiful design. It's as if the crown is highlighted, but instead of at night, during the day.
