Very nice views of Berlin from above! Thanks for sharing, zeitgeist.

Observing a city from above is something very special. Berlin is worth to go up to take pictures as we can see. I´ve specially liked the perspectives of the avenues.

By the way, very sharp and clear shots.

Thanks for your comments. @ canada1: Camera = Lumix G5, lens pancake 20 mm or zoom 45 - 200 mm. @ dropdeaded209: I was on the "Schrotkugelturm" (not open for public)

good. Nice to see the Berliner Schloss construction site picking up. I was there in 2007 when they were still dismantling the asbestos filled building the Soviets put up in the early 70s.

awesome photos.



strange to see industrial infrastructure like that in the middle of berlin. american cities were loaded with these kinds of gas holders but most of them have been dismantled.

Wow, I had no idea Berlin had so many green areas.

Also -- is it just me or does Berlin appear to be relatively un-dense?
