Broadway condo tower on track for $2.4M property tax break
Developers of $50M project apply to Saskatoon city hall program to develop vacant lots

A Saskatoon city council committee unanimously endorsed a five-year tax break worth an estimated $2,365,350 for the 17-storey condo building planned for a vacant lot on Broadway Avenue just south of Spadina Crescent.
A City of Saskatoon report says the project received the maximum points a project can receive under a program designed to encourage building on vacant lots.
The $2.4-million abatement includes both municipal property taxes ($1.4 million) and the provincial education portion ($924,410).
