Older suburban towers still have copious amounts of surface parking above the sprawling, under utilized, single story, underground garages.

Regarding The One's Financing Status:

Over on UT, I think they had stated the issue with the requirement for thr 61 million in bridge loans, had been resolved, however the fact this financing need became public is still concerning.

Oh....that's the crown for the northern face of the Massey tower....I can't be surprised. Anyways, the Telus Sky project looks incredible.

Prestiges? CIBC is a laughing stock in the local financial world. AGF is just another wealth management firm. Microsoft is huge on a global scale however, this could be a small marketing office.

Agreed in part. CIBC isn't expanding but consolidating their space in one location in part to attract new talent and improve their image. They may be vacating more space than they have taken in CIBC Square in regards to improved floor plan efficiency. Depends how strong the office market remains.

People don't realize this is really common even in neighborhoods like The Annex. People are too quick to draw NYC comparisons.

I would never guess that to be Telus Sky if I didn't know better. The charcoal grey in the sun leaves a lot to be desired.
