I have another suggestion.. 5e Baron in Aylmer.

It is expensive, but the beers can't be beat.

Or... Bistro l'autre Oeil.

(Aylmer is very English-friendly, for those who are worried).

Went to Bistro l'autre Oeil once and it was quite enjoyable. Must have been around 2016. Hard to believe it's been that long.

They have moved to the corner of Frank Robinson and Principale now. Still a great building and location!

Does it have lots of IPA Double IPA's. That day I'll be in Ile D'Orleans. Friday nights are footie nights for me normally. A friend/work colleague from another firm I work with lives in Aylmer and speaks highly of the place you are suggesting. I think I went there post footie when there were too many fights at the British Hotel on Friday night. It was in an house converted to a pub very close to that fine establishment know as Club du Coin at 61 rue Principale..

The British Hotel has gone upmarket a lot since then.
