here's my attempt at stitching the video together into a rendering.

the middle is all blurry because the video pans up so quickly (likely intentional), but it is what it is:

Great work on that image! I love the "canyon" feeling the streetwall gives in the renders from that new(ish) video. Completely changes the dynamic of that area.

The stepped bronze detail around the windows at the base looks like a reference to the Mayan Revival style of the Guardian Building to me. Nice touch

Nice to see this rising.

That's the office block portion, they're still doing below grade work on the tower.

Man, this building is really going to change the feel of downtown Detroit in that Woodward corridor between Campus Martius and Little Ceasars Arena. Detroits' downtown has become so lively as of late, minus the dip in activity from Covid this past year.

If Monroe Block is completely as planned, Detroits' downtown won't even be recognizable to someone who was there only 3 years ago. Excited for this city!

^Yes, they have been busy on the tower side lately, though not the tower itself, which hasn't changed much in the past month or two. The webcam view is clearer:

^ Cool!

That's looking great.

Is that terra cotta on the one on the left?

It’s gotta be terra cotta, the tile seams give it away. Bedrock confirmed they’re using the material a few years ago. Also looks like there’s bronze, typical materials for a SHoP project.

^ Typical materials or a SHoP project are usually atypical for a typical development. In a good (x1,000) way.

Can you resize these pics? They're ridiculously large.

If you're using chrome, right click and "open image in new tab" and they'll resize to full screen. It's the only way I can look at enormous pictures like this.
