I can remember watching all the news specials in the mid 90s as the Jin Mao was being built, and then later the WFC. They made such a big deal about the heights and the technology needed to make them the size they are, and to see this picture looking down on them like they are nothing, is insane. Just incredible how this dwarfs them.

I think the cork screw building looks a lot better than this one. This building is trying to be too much.

Correct, but we will get to see it in person and from WFC... I have also inquired about a tour since I work for an architectural firm here.

Such an amazing shot and so weird to be looking down on a super tall (not from a plane or helicopter).

Wow, great shots. It really does look like a futuristic city.

This and the SWFC get better every time I look at them.
If only Toronto could build something approaching the look, height and quality as close as these two.

Amazing skyline shots... Love of the design of this building. One of my favorite current supertall projects.

Chinese urban enthusiasts are very lucky and must be enjoying watching all these great towers going up.
I really wish we had such megatalls as this and such fantastic designs towers as these going up in our western cities. Maybe one day...

I like this one in particular because you can see Shanghai's other U/C supertall - White Magnolia Place (~315m), the first supertall in Puxi, is at the far left of this image.
