Haha, the last time my wife and I were downtown she had to get onto me a couple times for gawking at the skyline and new construction...

Lighting for this one was being tested for the first time back in December.

Great shots.

It's a bit depressing how many "gaps" we have still, from various angles. But this tower is shaping up nicely.

Most of the gaps at this point are Capitol View Corridors, at least on the west side. Thee are only a couple more buildable lots between 5th and 7th that will further define those two corridors.

Any estimated time frame of when it would top off? Like summer/fall timeframe?
The last concrete pour will be around July and the steel structure at the crown will be completed around September

As far as I'm aware of, there have not been any discussions of installing a Google logo like they did at 500 West 2nd. That being said, it's not uncommon for this to be a late add-on at the end of a project.

I hope they don’t. It would ruin the whole look of the building.

Great pics!

I'm starting to feel like an invisible density threshold has been passed -- we're looking like a much different city these days.

I know exactly what you mean. Coming down 35 heading south on the overpass, looking at the highrises getting built on West Campus and UT area, and seeing the Capitol in the center mixed in with all the rising towers really gives you that big city feel. It's probably the best view of the city and proves what you're saying.
