I was going to say yes . . . but the Waller Creek supertall and the possibility of a mirror image with Travis #2 could really shift the focus towards Rainey.

I was going to say yes, but its 11 inches too short for that distinction.

No - as of now The Republic appears to be 708-710 ft whereas 6XG is looking to be 848-883 ft.

There is another cool rendering in the first couple seconds of this YouTube video that includes a few of the new buildings but I'm not sure how to put the screenshot image in this thread haha: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7TjQQ5tJek

The FAA finally approved the 710' height. But still nothing public on the City permit side.

I'm really, really glad to see this one is steadily continuing through the process. I was afraid we'd lost it for good, post-COVID.

It's going to need a huge tenant. Keeping my fingers crossed.

This really is the one building I care about the most. There others that will be nice and ones I'll look forward to for different reasons. This one, though.

And why might you be saying that after a couple years of nothing?

Awesome. The Plan Review to update the approved site plan with a museum add was just approved. Right after that, 11 building permits were filed. This is looking good now.

There are no dates or drawings on any of the new permits yet. But they do say there are 31 office levels and 16 parking levels. So this one apparently did not get a haircut like River Street Residences.

100s of files were added to the approved plan review this morning. I don't have time to sort through them today. But anything anyone wants to know about the building should be included.
