remember how glorious the row of patios here once was? Basically every European city has big rows of street facing patios on car free/restricted streets... Rice Howard was kind of the closest thing we had to that... Gonna be nice if OEB goes for a large patio his summer. Are they licensed and are they open evenings? Or is it more Cora style serve till three and close?

Not open evenings at the moment, no, but they do/will serve libations I believe.

I miss Nikitas.

La Patrona in Sherwood Park is all you need when it comes to Mexican food in the city.

I'll regularly head there for lunch despite our office being downtown.

Sad to see it go, but it never really was that busy. Prime location, so hopefully something moves in shortly.

I'm going for dinner there in a couple of weeks. Hopefully it lives up to the hype.

Hope it's better than the last iteration... poor Nello's old place was on a downhill skid before he passed. Sounds like his son is doing good things.

Never cared for any Nellos location. Cheap unimaginative slosh.

BRU is apparently closed for good. It's been like that for some time - and there's what looked like a notice of seizure posted on the door.
