I noticed there's a good sized building going up on Sheffield between Diversey and Wrightwood on what was the parking lot between the two Edith Spurlock Sampson Apartment towers-in-the-park directly across the street from that Wiggly Field dog park. . . has this been discussed here? It's possible I missed it, but it's such a large building I can't believe I've overlooked it. . .

This is an addition to the complex, I believe. Mainly market-rate units.

Yes, 80 units in the new building, mostly larger 3-bedroom units. 75% are CHA units or affordable, the other 25% are market rate.

It's really dramatic that the old towers have 394 units (each) while the new building has only 80. And the new building is significantly chunkier. Not great access to light in those new buildings...

Anyone have an update on 633 S LaSalle? I know they broke ground a month or two ago, but seems awfully quiet since.

Bit of a head scratcher. Nothing about LJC's body of work really meshes with Lucien's practice.

Absolutely no idea what's going here. Quite amused by the construction worker who seems to have secured a scooter for his ride home inside the site.

McPier has issued an RFI for revamping Lakeside Center with the caveat that convention space must be maintained or replaced elsewhere on site:
