The small building on the left in the foreground is going to be redeveloped and another tower is under construction on the left across Cogswell. Then there's a plan to develop that parking deck next to the Trade Mart. That site is pretty interesting since it'll terminate the view running down Brunswick Street.

That rock is located well outside of the shipping channel. I believe its only about 100 feet off the Dartmouth shore about at the bottom of Grove Street. Much of the Dartmouth side is shallower and has rock islets and coves. The deepest parts follow the ancient Sackville River riverbed.

Just look at that huge gap where Cogswell is behind the saleboat. So excited to see that project come to life. Our skyline is incredible for a city of our size - and just to think how many of these have been built in the past 5 years.

The shape of that sail looks like it could be inspiration for a really iconic tower design on the Cogswell land...maybe in another reality

This is why cities in western democracies can't grow or modernize at a competitive rate. Even with new glass towers on the skyline, at its core Halifax is still stuck in the 90s

Could you explain a little bit more about what you mean by "grow?" Is this a numerical thing or some sort of expansion/increase in quality of life? What is the baseline for being competitive?
