That's very true...they weathered the storm and stole a point or two.

Calgary with a comeback. The playoff race is insane between about 5th and 11th in the West.

Ian, you don't have to justify the Oil beating Dallas as "jeez we were lucky to get 2 points," - bottom line - teams up their game when they play the Oil - while they "ho hum" when they play the Flamers. Speaking of "stealing 2 points" last night.....

Flames stole the 2 points for sure, can't show up for the last 10 minutes of the game and expect to win lol. Oh well, 2 points is 2 points!

Henri Richard, Maurice's little brother, has passed away. He was 84.

He holds the record for the most Stanley Cup rings - by a longshot I think.

Actually he's not as far ahead as I thought. Jean Béliveau, Claude Provost (?), Yvan Cournoyer and Red Kelly aren't far behind.

Henri Richard was pretty contemporaneous with Belliveau and Cournoyer, so it would stand to reason they would be similar.

Cournoyer was one of my favourite players as a kid - really speedy and talented.

Just when you think the Jets are dead they crush the Golden Knights 4-0 who were 9-1 in their last 10 games before tonight. I guess the Jets want this playoff spot bring on Calgary, Vancouver and Edmonton then and fight it out like the old Smythe division days.

The Jets are getting healthy at the right time.
I remember those Smythe division series. The time the Jets were up 3-0 on the Gretzky Oilers and then blew it. Still leaves a hole in my heart. I still cannot stand the Oilers to this day and raise a glass to the hockey gods every time they stumble.

NBA now considering playing games in empty arenas with no fans due to coronavirus. NHL I would think will have to consider doing this as well will be really weird if playoff games are played next month with no fans.

Vancouver snaps their 4 game losing skid with a win over Colorado.
All 4 western Canadian teams in a playoff spot.

The Florida Panthers have been preparing for the coronavirus for the last decade.

Lebron's already said he's not playing in front of empty stands. The reaction to this is ridiculous. Take common sense protections that you should be taking all of the time anyway and you'll be fine.

"I play for my team-mates, I play for the fans, that's what it's all about."

Does he realize that fans also watch on TV? Or does he think the Lakers only have 19,000 fans?

Lebron made dumb statements earlier this year when the Rockets GM stood up with the Hong Kong protestors against the Chinese government and Lebron sided with the Chinese communist tyrants because well he and the NBA make millions and bllions of dollars from China.
