here's hoping 1 Vandy will cut an eye-catching profile on the skyline, HY towers turned out to be a leaden, lumpy dud, as did the Nordstrom Tower... it's hard to believe how much better ESB and Chrysler look... at least 53W53 adds some spark, but overall, pretty meh. nice sky though.

Beautiful. Just five years ago that was a completely different view. And five years from now, it will be much changed again.

I'd be a good photo to photoshop Tower 5th into the mix. Just to see how it will alter the skyline.

It is. All within a few short years. I'm getting excited for Phase II of HY.

Yet another round of towers! Let's hope the designs are exquisite for this new CBD within a CBD.

Coming along well. And I must say, the New York skyline is looking good! For awhile there, it had devolved into a level plateau from many angles. It is regaining its peaks and standout buildings from more vantages!

It was almost stagnant for DECADES, but it's now growing more rapidly than even the fastest growing skyscraper cities in developing countries. I am sure none of us could have predicted this boom just 7 - 10 years ago.

That viewing area at the very tip of the tower is cool for those lucky enough to experience it, but it kind of bugs me the way it chips into the top point. Otherwise, pretty cool building.

Zoomed in on this view, it's a great look at New York today, and will be even greater when 360 10th Avenue gets built...
