I mean, both are beautiful cities, but Maringá seems to be a level above not only them but most other brazilian cities, in terms of urbanism (at least in my humble opinion).
Do you have any insight into this, considering that you live close to Maringá and probably already visited the city?

Pres. Prudente has 200,000 inhab., Maringá: 400,000 and Londrina: 600,000.
Talking about urbanism, Maringá is above of Pres. Prudente. Why?
Maringá is a total planned city, and the most green of Brazil, locate in the north of Paraná state (a rich region) and Presidente Prudente is located in the Western SP state, the less rich region of the state.
Compare this urbanization to the aerial pic of P. Prudente
Maringá
My G'd, what a envy... i'm really jealous
And Londrina, well, it's the 3rd largest city of all south.
So, yeap, I visited Maringá many times...
Maringá, Prudente and Londrina are interconnected,
People from Londrina studies in univerisities of Pres. Prudente,
all the vestibular of Prudente are advertised in the two cities, shopping... etc
hope you understood my english
