Oh lol. Just the front looks a bit suspicious. I think it could look good if it were different.

Maybe if i darken the curtain wall joints also it may help as they are hardly visible in that shot.

Thanks guys, I have to start again back in SU6 now so consider this the fresh start.

The new map is below. I've never seen this area before but it is traced from an aerial image from the real Gold coast.

3D terrain will still be used

Original

Awesome map. Has a very tropical feel to it. And you'll be able to create some sexy bridges and residential towers in those islands.

Bridges was doing last night. It wont be built dense but space will be used extra efficiently - This sporadic skyline will match the growing patterns of tropical fauna.

I just viewed through this thread and the first thing that comes to my mind is Holy shit! The design, the detail, the renders - they're all awesome! Although I prefer cities that display the whole history of skyscraper, I can't really complain about this eye candy.

I really like symmetrical buildings, so I would suggest, that you replace that taller tower with the mirrored copy of that rounder tower. I really like the middle part, so that's a definite keeper. You could also try the effect of lowering that lower tower to approximately halfway of that taller towers height.

i like the lefthandside tower and the right hand tower but its the middle i dont like..in a skyline it would look like a big block..i would take out the centre cos its a bit bland and leave a gap in the middle or put in some skybridges using some white..from the distance it would look like two tower(very strong towers) but remain one building

I was thinking the same, I think maybe balconies down the middle? I decide to leave it and try to make the surrounding buildings 'relieve' those ugly's that you mention but if that doesn't work out i'll do the balconies.

I think it looks fine but I don't really like the color. Change that and like toyota said, some middle emptiness wold be nice.

The last render looks like a 400ft turd.

Just add some setbacks and a deep black color and itll be great. I like it as it is right now, especially the windows.
