Augusta Young | 13.5m | 4 fl | Planning

Thought there was a thread for this project but can't seem to find it. If I'm missing it, mods please merge threads.

This 4 storey 'missing middle' infill project will go before planning committee next Tuesday, April 30th, 2019. City staff recommend APPROVAL.

27 units in the new build off of Augusta, 3 additional units in the existing house off of Young. Proposal has 21 parking spots, of which 17 are for residents and 4 are for visitors. Height is 13.5 meters.

Developer is 1955132 Ontario Ltd. which appears to be owned by Mario Nesci who also owns a tile and interior business and a restaurant.

Whole bunch of files available for your downloading here.

And, a link to the City reports is here.

I extracted some of the renderings for comfortable viewing:

North elevation (facing Augusta):

South elevation (facing the parking):

And a site map:

Will be interesting who they hire to build. Mario isn't a builder.

This is a perfect design though - shows how you can perfectly marriage a traditional look with a more conservative one.

Not questioning the design. I'm not in love with it, but it's okay. I'm just openly curious as to who will be the builder.

Looks like this project might finally be moving ahead. All kinds of holes have dug around the property. Maybe soil testing? I was just passing by and didn’t get a very good view.

This project is going to the committee of adjustment next week for some minor variances, so I guess it’s still moving ahead, slowly but surely: https://pub-hamilton.escribemeetings...umentId=364174
