If this ain't suburban Dallas with hills and trees. Dunwoody and the OTP subcities feel really distant now that the city has mushroomed with new development. Is the phrase OTP outdated?
Wow - That second shot with Buckhead showing prominently in the background is simply epic!
I think we have found an untapped vantage point and a new favorite city-wide view!
How often do you really see so much of the metro skyline in one shot where the buildings still show up so well.
If the drone could pull back just far enough to capture 191 Peachtree & Georgia Pacific building without losing the Buckhead details – we would have a new “high bar” set for Atlanta skyline shots.
Somebody with a Super High-Definition drone should take a trip out to that same area on a calm day and get a few more good shots.
Has anyone taken a recent pic from 17th/Northside looking east? I hadn't driven past there in a while, but the skyline looks so dense. A bit squatty (needs a few breakthrough towers), but densifying nicely.
