Wow, pretty darn snazzy for a football stadium!

The rest is history.
This stadium was the definition of not easy. From finding a city to host it, to controversial land acquisition, it took forever to get off of the ground.

Lincoln Financial Field isn't big, it only holds 68,000 people.

Maybe they should of added more seats instead of having that
open end zone on the on side.

Life long Cowboy hater, but it is a nice stadium, you don't want it to be overly big like Fed Ex Field, 90,000 is ridiculous.

He's talking about the HD Scoreboard. The Linc has the biggest scoreboard to date.

That is hands down the most incredible looking stadium I've ever seen! My new favorite! Ridiculously expensive, but it's an amazing design.

The biggest scoreboard in the NFL is at Dolphin Stadium, installed this past summer. The biggest in the US is at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium and nicknamed Godzillatron. The biggest in the world is at a race track in Tokyo. The two in the Cowboys new stadium will dwarf all three of those.

The Cowboys like to move farther away from Dallas. Best stadium the NFL will have for a few years I bet, until another team one ups the Cowboys. Texas Stadium is a shithole, though. I went there two years ago on Thanksgiving against the Bears, and the bathrooms had puddles of water, it was kind of muggy and the concessions were horrible. I don't know what it was, but little droplets of something were dropping down from the ceiling. Almost hit my hot dog.

Personal Foul. Roughing The Dog!

(Edited to note the quote referenced Texas Stadium.)

I like it. Wish it didn't look so 'dome-ish', but I think it's a beauty. I also wish it were closer to downtown Dallas. Arlington is just a shame.

Great stadium. Can't stand the Cowboys. I lived in Dallas for 8 years, hated them when I arrived and hated them more by the time I left. At least pre-Jerry Jones, I respected the organization.

I agree that it could be closer to downtown Dallas. Going to Arlington is a pain in the arse for most of the people who actually live in Dallas and areas north and east (see Plano, Frisco, Carrollton, Richardson, Garland, Mesquite, etc.). Irving wasn't a great location but it was more central. Gotta admit that it will pull in more people from Ft. Worth (624K people) and Arlington itself is not a small city with 360K people.

Looks proper spectacular. My only gripe would be that the hole in the roof could be a bit bigger, even if it did end up looking less like a reference to the original one.

Ya...since New York is great and all...and what kind of crap shoot are they going to try to build the giants in NEW JERSEY???? o ya...just an updated version of the same crap shoot...so it will be a Super Crap Shoot...right?

This new Stadium will sit 80,000 on a regular basis but can sit 100,000...give JJ one year and it will sit 100,000 every game.

Rea Grass, not turf
The Jumbo tron is 30 feet higher than any kick or punter has ever kicked

and the final price...more than $1 million...more then half coming out of the owners pockit.

See...if all NFL and NBA and MLB owners were like Jerry Jones...there would be some awesome stadiums in the United States Today

I was down in the Dallas area in March and has a chance to see the construction site of the new stadium. This area badly needs some invested redevelopment. This new stadium hopefully will do just that. As far as it's actual location it does seem to really be "out there" lol
