Very simple and elegant, and just the right size for its location. I approve.

Construction on this site may be getting closer.

According to Friday's SA Business Journal, a building permit was recently issued by the San Antonio Building Inspections Department....

Bill Roberts, commercial building at 125 E. Houston, (hotel-historic preservation), $38,000,000.

Yes construction has begun, the parking lot is fenced off, and they have baracated the streets from the site, and closed the riverwalk on that side of the site.

I wish the building was taller, at least as high as the Holiday Inn Riverwalk.
Because the Courtyard Marriott is 17 floors and its still not taller then the Holiday Inn.

This thing certainly seems like it's taking it's sweet time. Anybody know if construction rate is normal for this sized building? I know that the total footprint is pretty large, and the location is on the riverwalk.
