As of right now, Blacksun is being their usual incompetent self.
I told the tech:
"Please plug into db3 (that's the database server that's down) and let me know why it's not responding. Reboot if necessary". I also asked them to reboot our backup server.

I once had a similar experience (not with blacksun) and those techis acted like dumb. After a long session, he agreed that he was new on the job and that i should contact later when someone else is there.
